Frequently asked questions

frequently asked questions

Do you only work with people trying to conceive?

Not at all. Whether you want to improve symptoms, balance hormones, or feel more confident in your cycle—support is tailored to your goals. TTC support is available if and when you’re ready.

Will I need to cut carbs or go on a strict diet?

No. While we’ll work on stabilising blood sugar, you won’t be put on a restrictive plan. I’ll show you how to build satisfying, balanced meals that actually work for your lifestyle.

How long will it take to see results?

Everyone is different, but many of my clients start noticing positive changes—like improved energy, reduced cravings, or more regular cycles—within a few weeks of making targeted nutrition and lifestyle changes. More significant shifts, such as ovulation return or improved fertility markers, can take a few months. PCOS is a long game, but with the right support, your body can absolutely respond.

do you offer medicare rebates or private health rebates?

Yes! If your GP provides a Chronic Disease Management Plan (also known as a care plan or EPC), you may be eligible for Medicare rebates for up to 5 dietitian appointments per year. These typically rebate around $60 per session.

I also accept private health insurance claims—most major Australian health funds provide cover for dietitian consults. The amount you can claim will depend on your level of extras cover, so it’s best to check with your provider.

If you’re not sure whether you qualify or how to claim, I’m happy to guide you through the process.

With the right nutrition and support, PCOS is manageable. You can feel better in your body, understand your cycle, and improve your long-term health—without dieting or confusion.

Let’s work together to create a plan that feels good and gets results.
