Frequently asked questions

frequently asked questions

Can nutrition really impact fertility?

Yes! Diet plays a huge role in regulating cycles, improving egg quality, supporting implantation, and reducing inflammation—all of which can impact your chances of falling pregnant.

Should I see you before or during IVF?

Both can be helpful. Ideally, we start 3 months before egg collection or transfer to improve egg quality and endometrial health, but support at any stage can make a difference.

Do you work with PCOS or irregular cycles?

Yes! I work with many women with PCOS, HA, endometriosis, thyroid conditions and more. Your plan will be completely tailored to your unique cycle and goals.

do you offer medicare rebates or private health rebates?

Yes! If your GP provides a Chronic Disease Management Plan (also known as a care plan or EPC), you may be eligible for Medicare rebates for up to 5 dietitian appointments per year. These typically rebate around $60 per session.

I also accept private health insurance claims—most major Australian health funds provide cover for dietitian consults. The amount you can claim will depend on your level of extras cover, so it’s best to check with your provider.

If you’re not sure whether you qualify or how to claim, I’m happy to guide you through the process.

Whether you're just starting to try or feeling stuck on your TTC journey, I’d love to support you with a clear, personalised plan that gives your body the best chance of conceiving.
